We met with Cleveron on NRF 2020 and they have quite the portfolio of retail automation especially in BOPIS technology.  The Walmart towers are designed by them (manufactured by Bell & Howell). International company. Here in Colorado we used to go to WholeFoods to dropoff and pickup but now we can do it at any Kohls, and usually spend $20 while we are there.

BOPIS and the Future of Order Fulfillment

Buy online, pick up in-store (BOPIS) has increased drastically in popularity with consumers and retailers alike, saving on shipping costs and cutting down on fulfillment times. A new survey, conducted by Radial and NAPCO Research, of U.S.-based retailers with annual revenues over $10 million, reveals just how popular.

Some of the findings outlined in this new infographic include:

  • 67% of shoppers in the U.S. have used BOPIS in the past 6 months
  • 88% of retailers are able to track incremental in-store purchases from the BOPIS customers
  • 98% of retailers who have adopted these programs, say they’re getting additional in-store purchases from their BOPIS customers.
